Jomel Puno and Yukien Andrada took turns in carrying the offensive load as San Beda mauled San Sebastian, 76-53, to extend their win streak to three games in the NCAA Season 99 men’s basketball tournament on Friday, Oct. 20, at the FilOil EcoOil Center in San Juan City.

After a huge effort of 12 points and 17 rebounds in a 62-60 win over Perpetual last Tuesday, Puno fired 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds this time to help the Red Lions keep No. 2 spot with a 6-2 record.

They are now just a game behind the Lyceum which kept its firm grip of the top spot at 7-1.

Andrada, meanwhile, anchored the offense for San Beda by scoring the first 11 points in the third quarter to leave San Sebastian behind. He tallied 16 points and eight rebounds.

Reggz Gabat had 11 points while Alex Desoyo added 10 as the Golden Stags fell to 3-6.
