Following Israel's war with Hamas due to the latter's surprise attack, protests erupted in different parts of Egypt, mainly to call out Israeli's actions and to sympathize with the Palestinian people in Gaza who are getting killed in the hostilities.
On Wednesday, Oct. 18, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi also said the Egyptian people could take to the streets if Palestinian people would be displaced from their lands and seek refuge in Egypt, which is adjacent to the besieged Gaza.
Meanwhile, Filipinos in the northern part of Israel and in the southern part of Lebanon have also been cautioned against Israel's possible retaliation on Lebanon-based Hezbollah fighters.
At least 2,700 Filipinos in Lebanon and 70 in Israel might be affected if the Israeli government advances its attack on the Hamas sympathizers.
