Motorcycle ride-hailing service Angkas marked another thrilling chapter in the world of motorsport with the successful staging of Angkas Dream Cup Season 2 at the renowned Clark Speedway.

Committed to its vision of nurturing the dreams of aspiring racers and advancing motorsport in the country and of making it accessible to all, Angkas, through events like Angkas Dream Cup Season 2, held last Oct. 15 at Clark Speedway, empowers individuals to chase their dreams, showing them that with determination and the right support, anything is possible. 

“This event signifies the company's steadfast commitment to the two-wheel community and motorsport, affirming its mission to democratize the sport,” said Angkas CEO George Royeca, adding that he believes in leveling the playing field for motorsport enthusiasts across the nation.

"We have 19 million two-wheel motorbike owners in the Philippines, and just like any other sport, motorsport can be a platform for numerous talented individuals to showcase their skills," Royeca stressed.

All Angkas-supported riders secured victory in their respective categories during Angkas Dream Cup Season 2 with Eane Jaye Sobretodo clinching the National Champion title in the 2023 Pirelli Cup Group 2 Expert, where he demonstrated extraordinary talent and dedication while TJ Alberto achieved the remarkable feat of becoming a 3-time Philippine Superbike Champion, exemplifying his prowess and dominance in the sport.

Troy Alberto, crowned as the Champion in Leg 6 of the Philippine Superbike Championship, showcased unwavering determination and skill on the racetrack.

Lawrence Macalinao, emerged as the National Champion in the Philippine Superbike Championship, underscoring the impressive depth of talent within the motorsport community.

Angkas Dream Cup Season 2 was a grand celebration of speed, skill, and passion for motorsport.

With Angkas' unwavering support, the Philippines' two-wheel racing community continues to thrive and produce champions who shine on the national and international stage.
