2 trapped in building elevator in Makati

Two men were trapped inside an elevator of a building in Barangay Bel Air, Makati City on Friday, Oct. 20, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

According to the BFP, the rescue operation started at 9:48 a.m. The victims were rescued at 10:11 a.m.

The victims were identified as Revira Ricarding Jose who suffered a laceration on the forehead, hematoma, and swelling; and Mark Jonathan Caoili who complained of pain on his upper back and hematoma.

Authorities are still determining the cause of the elevator's malfunction.
