Pagdanganan finishes at joint third in Arkansas, pockets P6.3 million

Bianca Pagdanganan shot an impressive 7-under-par 64 to finish tied at third place at the close of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championships at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Rogers, Arkansas on Sunday, Oct. 1.

The Tokyo Olympian highlighted her round with two eagles, five birdies and two bogeys to finish the 54-hole tournament with a 15-under 198, four strokes behind eventual champion Hae Ran Ryu.
She had earlier rounds of 69 and 65.
This was Pagdanganan’s best finish in her career, matching her third-place feat at the LPGA Drive On Championship-Reynolds Lake Oconee in 2020.
She pocketed $112,775 (around P6.3 million).
After a bogey on the second hole, Pagdanganan shot two more birdies on the fifth and seventh and then firing an eagle 2 on the eight. She briefly stumbled with a bogey on the 12th, but picked herself up with three more birdies and an eagle on the par-5 18th hole.
Meanwhile, Dottie Ardina carded a 67 for a 201.
Shooting earlier rounds of 68 and 66, she had five birdies against a single bogey to finish at joint 10th worth $37,933 (around P2.1 million).
Yuka Saso, for her part, posted a 68 for a three-day total of 203, sharing the 23rd place with three others.
The Fil-Japanese went home with $22,819 (around P1.2 million).
