CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police seized 60 grams of suspected shabu valued at P408,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Imadejas, this city, over the weekend.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Marb,” 40, a resident of Barangay Villa Kananga here.
Police Regional Office-13 (PRO-13) Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B Kraft said the suspect is a high-value individual (HVI).
Marb yielded 13 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 60 grams of shabu and drug paraphernalia.
Kraft said the suspect will be charged for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Suspect and confiscated items are in the custody of PDEA-Caraga for proper disposition.
“Our strengthened partnership with the PDEA in fighting the drug menace has brought anew another accomplishment targeting high-value individual. Indeed, cooperation is an indispensable element in our quest to achieve a drug free Caraga,” Kraft said.
On September 27, The Regional Drug Enforcement Unit-13 and Butuan City Police Station 3 arrested another high-value individual and seized P1-million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bayanihan, this city.
