Sorsogon Governor Edwin “Boboy” Hamor apologized to Sorsoganons after he kicked out the OPM band Kamikazee from festival lineup due to an alleged “attitude problem" last Oct. 1.

A viral video showed Hamor addressing the crowd, saying Kamikazee will no longer perform during the town fiesta celebration. Hamor made a promise that the band would never perform in Sorsogon.

The governor said that he would invite Vice Ganda and Sarah Geronimo to the celebration soon.

Hamor did not disclose any specifics regarding the problem with Kamikazee. It was discovered that the band refused to take a photo at the attraction called 16,000 Blue Roses, which is made up of LED flowers.

Dong Mendoza, the information officer of the Provincial Government of Sorsogon, stated that the band had previously agreed to a photoshoot but declined to do it on the scheduled date.

There has been no statement issued by Kamikazee regarding the incident. Kamikazee made their debut in the music industry with the release of their hit single "Narda" back in 2006.
