Gasoline boy nabbed for illegal drugs in Antipolo

A gasoline boy was arrested by Antipolo City police in a buy-bust operation on Saturday, Sept. 30, that resulted in the confiscaton of over P630,000 worth of shabu, the Rizal Provincial Police Office (Rizal PPO) said.

The suspect, identified as "Chris", a resident of Barangay San Rafael, Rodriguez, Rizal, had been target of the police as he was able to evade them during their anti-drug operations.

The police report said Chris was finally nabbed in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Antipolo City after almost a month of surveillance operations.

Recovered from the suspect were sachets of shabu worth P632,400 and the buy-bust money. He said he started selling illegal drugs since 2019.

Chris is now facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act 9165. He is currently detained at the Antipolo City Police Custodial Facility.
