“Our focus now is focus dynamism and you showed your unity by holding this Family Day,” CSC-7 Director Carlos Evangelista said in front of Capitol employees led by Gov. Aris Aumentado on Friday, September 29, at the Carlos P. Garcia Complex in Tagbilaran City.

Evangelista said the event served as a fitting ending to the Civil Service Month which was being observed during September.

Aumentado thanked provincial government workers for rendering efficient service.

He assured that the support being given by workers to Capitol officials will be reciprocated with an equally efficient service to the Boholanos.

“Your support encourages us to work hard so that we can provide the services needed by the people,” said Aumentado.

Serving as highlight of the event was the signing of the Collective Negotiation Agreement between the provincial government and the Bohol Provincial Employees League headed by President Susan Datahan.

The program also featured hiphop and cheer dance competitions participated by cluster of offices such as the Development Administration, Legislative, Infrastructure, Finance, Health, Economic, and Social and Environment.

Winners in photography, duet, folk dance, dancesport contests as well as sports events that were lined up as part of the activities of  the CSC month were also awarded.

Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte said the province is guided by its strategic agenda that includes a thorough study on the increase of daily wage for job order workers and the standardization of skill sets.

Caberte added that led by Human Resources Officer Anne Mariquit Oppus, the provincial government is implementing a succession plan and is working on an important middle management training on coaching and mentoring.
