Calabarzon has new top cop

Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas was designated as the acting regional director of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 4A in the latest reshuffle that also affected three other senior officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Lucas replaced Police Brig. Gen. Carlito Gaces as the regional director of the PRO 4A which has jurisdiction over the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon, or Calabarzon.

The post vacated by Lucas, as chief of the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) was assumed by Police Brig. Gen. Roger Quesada.

Police Brig. Gen. Ricardo Layug, Jr. on the other hand, was named as the acting regional director of Police Regional Office 10. He replaced Police Brig. Gen. Lawrence Coop.

Police Col. Florendo Gerdan Jr. was named as as Officer-In-Charge of PNP Engineering Service.
