2M Filipino homes subscribe to Converge's fiber internet services
Converge ICT Solutions announced that it has exceeded two million residential subscribers by the end of September this year due to an uptick in prepaid and postpaid subscriptions.

Since the launch of its prepaid fiber internet service "Surf2Sawa," the company said it saw 77 percent growth with more than 25,000 net additions registered in the second quarter of the year.
Meanwhile, steady growth was recorded in Converge's postpaid plan "BIDA Fiber," which offers internet speed of 35 Mbps that can be used by six devices for only P888 per month.
Complimentary to BIDA Fiber is "FiberX" which provides 200 Mbps internet speed to customers for P1,500 monthly.
Subscribers to any of the three pre- and postpaid plans can use unlimited data consumption.
Converge CEO and Co-Founder Dennis Anthony Uy said the company is "proud to mark this milestone in our mission to leave no one behind as we empower Filipinos with world-class fiber connectivity."
"This is a result of our effort to expand growth opportunities through providing more affordable connectivity solutions,” he added.

By extending its budget-friendly or low-cost internet services in the mass market, Converge gained 1.92 million postpaid subscribers and 54,000 prepaid subscribers from January to June 2023.
Converge Chief Operations Officer Jesus C. Romero said the company is "encouraged by the continued growth of its residential subscriber base," emphasizing the "superiority of its broadband product."
A further increase in sales is expected to be seen in the second half of the year, according to Converge's internal data.
"Converge is positioned to maintain this growth momentum as we bolster our penetration into the different segments of the market," said Uy.
Converge is the biggest fiber-to-the-home (FFTH) network in the country, with a network infrastructure that services 16.6 million homes or 62.3 percent of households nationwide as of June 2023.
