2 drug pushers nabbed in buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY â€“ Police arrested two suspected drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in Purok Tultugan, Barangay Mandalagan here on Saturday, September 30.

Police identified the suspects as Ken Ryu Barrientos, 20, and Martin John Beatingo, 33, residents of Barangay Villamonte, this city.

The suspects yielded 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 and 10 grams of suspected marijuana worth P1,500.

Both are street-level individuals and recovered from them were two .38 caliber revolvers with four bullets.

Police Capt. Francis Depasucat, head of Police Station 4, said that Barrientos was arrested for a drug offense while Beatingo was also allegedly involved in illegal drugs.

Depasucat said that suspects have pending robbery cases.

Beatingo has a frustrated murder case after he was tagged in a shooting incident in Barangay Villamonte last month.
