14 drug dealers fall in Bulacan buy-bust

Fourteen drug dealers and a robber were arrested in a series of anti-crime operations by the Bulacan Philippine National Police (PNP) over the weekend.

Based on the reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, joint operatives of the Meycauayan City police, Special Operation Unit 3, PNP Drug Enforcement Group, San Jose Del Monte City, Hagonoy, and Angat police conducted the anti-illegal drugs operation.

Arrested were 14 drug suspects who yielded 32 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 9.9932 grams and worth P 67,510; a plastic pack of dried marijuana leaves with an estimated weight of .2331 grams and worth P652.38; assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated illegal drugs were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination.

In an another police operation by the Norzagaray Municipal Police, Antonio Habagat, 27, of Brgy. Tigbe, Norzagaray, was arrested for the crime of robbery and Violation of R.A. 10591 in relation to the Omnibus Election Code in Brgy. Partida, Norzagaray, at about 1:15 p.m. on Sept. 30.

Recovered from the suspect were a cal. 38 Smith and Wesson loaded with four live ammunition and one kitchen knife.

The arrested suspect was placed under the custody of the arresting unit/station.
