Tomorrow X Together, NCT 127, IVE, Jini, EPEX top weekly album chart

K-pop boy band Tomorrow X Together’s third studio album “The Name Chapter: Freefall” topped the weekly physical album chart in South Korea. 

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, TXT’s “The Name Chapter: Freefall” sold 1.93 million copies or 2.13 million in physical record index (PRI) score for the chart period of Oct. 9 to 15 to grab the No. 1 spot on the weekly album chart.

“The Name Chapter: Freefall” sold 1.92 million copies on the first day of release on Oct. 13. 

NCT 127’s “Fact Check” placed second with 1.48 million copies sold (1.47 in PRI) followed by girl group IVE’s “I’VE Mine” with 954,262 copies sold (1.1 million in PRI). 

Jini’s “An Iron Hand In A Velvet Glove” took fourth place with 73,175 copies sold (87,692 in PRI) and EPEX’s “Can We Surrender?” placed fifth with 60,401 copies sold (72,481 in PRI). 

Hanteo Chart ranks albums by PRI, which combines the total sales and album price. 

Here are the top 20 albums on Hanteo Chart’s weekly album chart from Oct. 9 to 15: 

1. Tomorrow X Together - The Name Chapter: Freefall - 1,937,978 (total copies sold) / 2,135,508 (physical record index score) 

2. NCT 127 - Fact Check - 1,480,353 / 1,472,366
