Sisi Rondina erupts with 21 as Choco Mucho blanks Farm Fresh

Sisi Rondina erupted with 21 points as Choco Mucho blanked Farm Fresh, 25-18, 25-13, 25-16, for its first win in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Second All-Filipino Conference at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City, Thursday night, Oct. 19.

The Flying Titans bucked a slow start before dismantling the Foxies in the ensuing sets en route to a 1-1 record in the standings.

Rondina scattered her 21-point performance on 17 attacks, three blocks and a service ace, while Des Cheng tallied 10 markers.

Down 13-18 in the opening set, Choco Mucho rolled to a huge 12-0 comeback for the 1-0 set lead.

From then on, Farm Fresh was pretty much demoralized and unresponsive of Choco Mucho’s continued onslaught.

Meanwhile, it was Trisha Tubu who breathed life into the Foxies’ offensive scheme after finishing with 14 points highlighted by 12 attacks.

The Foxies fell into a 0-2 hole in the standings and remained winless since their debut in the Invitational Conference.
