Police Col. Richard V. Caballero, Nueva Ecija police chief, led the simultaneous deployment of checkpoints supervised by the Commission on Elections in key boundaries and strategic areas throughout the province.

Seven teams each led by police commissioned officers (PCOs) have been activated to form the Reactionary Standby Support Force (RSFF).

They are strategically deployed across the province, particularly in areas of concern where politically motivated election-related incidents may occur.

The Nueva Ecija PPO Command Group, chiefs of police, and force commanders  convened in a Provincial Joint Security Control Center (PJSCC) meeting led by Rommel Rama, Comelec provincial election supervisor.

The meeting discussed the deployment plan for NEPPO personnel in polling centers and precincts and strategic plan that will collectively contribute to a free, fair, and orderly electoral process in the province.

"The NEPPO lawmen recognize the significance of this electoral event and are fully committed to uphold the integrity of the elections by preventing the occurrence of irregularities and electoral tensions through aggressive conduct of checkpoints, 'Oplan: Sita,' red teaming, and other related activities,” Caballero said.

The campaign period ends on October 28.
