Motorcycle riders injured in Las Piñas road crash

Two motorcycle riders were injured in a road accident that occurred early Thursday morning, Oct. 19, in Las Piñas City.

The police identified the victims as Jeffrey, 41 and Dionesio, 25.

Police said the incident occurred at around 1:45 a.m. in front the SM Center on Alabang-Zapote Road in Las Piñas City.

Investigation showed Jeffrey was driving his motorcycle with sidecar towards the direction of Zapote Road when his sidecar was bumped by another motorcycle driven by Dionesio.

After Dionesio collided with the motorcycle sidecar of Jeffrey, both fell on the ground.

Police said Jeffrey refused to be brought to the hospital while Dionesio was rushed to the Perpetual Help Medical Center Hospital for treatment.

The police said both parties have agreed to a settlement during the investigation.
