Thailand’s capital offers a spiritual experience


Bangkok is one of the most visited cities in the world. Known as the “great city of angels,” Thailand’s capital offers a spiritual experience for tourists as they visit the many temples and marvel at the beautiful architecture of the historical sites showcasing its rich cultural heritage.

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, encourages every Juan to visit Bangkok, one of its first international routes, to experience its vibrant attractions. The airline currently flies twice daily between Manila and Bangkok, and four times weekly between Bangkok and Clark.

Chocolate Ville

Known for its European village theme, Chocolate Ville is one of the biggest outdoor entertainment parks in Bangkok. Visitors are instantly transported to a world of colorful sceneries, where they can take beautiful photos against the park’s many attractions. Although Chocolate Ville isn’t exactly covered in sweets, one of the park’s main highlights is a huge restaurant that serves Thai and Western cuisines. Here, visitors can take in the view while enjoying their meals. The best part about Chocolate Ville is that the admission is completely free, so anyone can come in anytime.

SOOKSIAM

For tourists looking to shop at local businesses and chow down on local Thai cuisine, SOOKSIAM boasts of over 3,000 distinctively famous businesses from all over Thailand. Tourists can get a front row seat to a panoramic view of Bangkok’s city skyline from the 84th floor of Baiyoke Sky Hotel, the tallest hotel in Thailand.

Safari World & Marine Park

Located in the heart of Bangkok, the Safari World & Marine Park is one of the largest open-air zoos in Asia that’s home to a wide variety of animal species from around the world. Tourists can get up close and see the animals in their natural habitat. They can also participate in a safari tour to witness wild animals, such as tigers, lions, and zebras that are wandering freely.

Wat Intharawihan

A trip to Thailand isn’t complete without visiting some of the country’s stunning temples. An iconic site is Wat Intharawihan, a third-class royal temple with a 32-meter standing Buddha statue known as Luang Pho To. Every day, Buddhists visit the temple to make offerings at the feet of Luang Pho To. Tourists can also find beautiful mural paintings and several smaller Buddha images within the temple complex.
