Asticom's IT security, services ISO-certified

Globe Group’s shared services company Asticom Group of Companies garnered certifications for data security and information technology (IT) service management from the International Organization for Standardization and International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC).

Asticom received ISO/IEC 27001, pertaining to the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of information security management systems, which can facilitate “better risk management, cyber-resilience and operational excellence” for companies.

Meanwhile, ISO/IEC 20000-1 focuses on improving the service management system (SMS) of companies, including the delivery, design, planning, and transition of services to achieve customer satisfaction.

Asticom President and CEO Mharicar Castillo-Reyes said the ISO certifications symbolize the company’s “dedication to advancing the digital capabilities of every Filipino.”

As a staffing and tech solutions provider, Asticom said it is committed to establishing a robust and safe information system, particularly in managing data and documents and upholding confidentiality and data-rights of its clients.

“These recognitions reaffirm our dedication to elevating digital services and safeguarding data for our valued customers and team,” said Asticom Chief Information Officer Jason Miñoza.
