PRO 4-A ready for start of BSKE campaign period

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – The Police Regional Office 4-A said they are ready for the start of the campaign period in the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections on Thursday, October 19.

The PRO 4-A has a strategic plan to ensure safety and security of the public during the campaign period, said PRO 4-A Director Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas.

“Our personnel are prepared to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to maintain a peaceful 10-day campaign period for the upcoming election,” Lucas said.

He added that their mission is to uphold the integrity of the electoral process by providing a safe atmosphere where candidates in the Calabazron region can present their platforms to the public, free from any threats or disturbances.

"Through active patrols, close coordination with local government units, the Comelec 4-A and other involved government agencies, and continuous engagement with the community, PRO 4-A aims to create an environment where every citizen feels secure in expressing their democratic rights urging the candidates and their supporters to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Comelec ensure a fair and peaceful electoral campaign," said Lucas.

"We have strategically deployed our personnel to maintain peace and order, prevent criminal activities, and address any potential issues that may arise during the campaign period and on election day," Lucas assured.

"Sa ating mga kababayan, kami po ay magbabantay 24 oras upang masigurong maidaraos natin ng payapa ang 10 araw na kampanya (Police are working round-the-clock to ensure a peaceful campaign period)," Lucas said.

Lucas urged the people to report any suspicious activities or security concerns to authorities during the campaign period.
