The metallic micro bra is having a moment—and it is definitely a piece to be worn by fashion savants with the bravest hearts. We’ve seen it on fall-winter runways, such as the Gucci piece actress Anne Curtis wore. Zendaya also rocked one on her birthday courtesy of Collina Strada's fall 2020 collection. And it looks like it made its way to the Philippines thanks to designer Anthony Ramirez.

For his return to the runway, Anthony unveiled his spring-summer 2024 collection dubbed “Symphony of Feelings.” The 30-piece line was unveiled at his newest showroom in Quezon City on Oct. 18. While the pieces he sent out on the runway were truly breathtaking, what stood out was his finale piece. His muse wore a black ball skirt paired with a white plunging silk top, and underneath it was a stunning diamond-encrusted bra worth P20 million.

The collection’s pièce de résistance was a collaboration between Anthony and local jeweler Viera Jewelry. “I designed the bra and they added the diamonds,” the designer told Manila Bulletin Lifestyle. The bra featured a linear design with the diamond pieces sparkling as they caught the light.

The runway show started with actor Robert Seña singing “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” Then his muses emerged, elegantly walking on the grand staircase to his garden setup. According to the designer, the ambiance was inspired by the 1998 romantic drama film “Meet Joe Black.”

His muses, mainly donning a uniform bob hairstyle, paraded wearing romantic pieces in neutral, white, and jewel tones, presenting his modern take on ‘90s socialites' dressing attitude. Anthony made evening wear for women sexy, with his cuts and drapery. Among our favorite looks were the white tea-length drop waist dress, the cream sequinned gown that exuded a major Marilyn Monroe vibe, and the pale blue two-piece ensemble with a sculptural neckline. Menswear pieces were also present on the runway, exploring new takes on formal wear, from extended shawl necklines to flowy silhouettes.

The “Symphony of Feelings” collection centered on Anthony’s story as a designer. “The collection is about my emotions throughout my 15 years in fashion—my feelings,” he said. It was a testament to his passion for fashion and dedication to creativity.
