Rains to continue to affect parts of PH due to northeasterly surface wind flow, localized thunderstorms
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday, Oct. 17 said rains will still prevail in most of the country due to the northeasterly surface wind flow and localized thunderstorms.

Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora will have cloudy skies and rains due to the northeasterly surface wind flow or the initial blast of cold breeze coming from the northeast.
PAGASA warned that flooding and landslides are possible during moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
The public is also warned against flash floods and landslides in high-risk areas during severe thunderstorms. (Lizst Torres Abello)
