CAMP RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police seized suspected shabu worth P204,000 during the implementation of a search warrant on Sunday, October 15, in Barangay Afga, Sibagat, Agusan del Sur.
PRO-13 Regional Public Information Office chief Police Major Jennifer S. Ometer said on Tuesday, October 17, that the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and Regional Intelligence Division-13 arrested six suspects, including a high-value individual, in the operation.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft identified the suspects as alias “Kokey,” 38, the HVI; “Foija,” 33; “Tian,” 19; “JL,” 25; “Yoldi,” 19, and "Winfer,” 23, residents of Sibagat.
Seized from them were 30 grams of shabu and drug paraphernalia.
The Regional Trial Court, 10th Judicial Region in Barangay Libertad, this city, issued the search warrant dated October 12, 2023 for violation of Republic Act Number 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Kraft commended lawmen for the success of the operation.
“I laud the dedication and commitment of our operatives in keeping our momentum against illegal drugs,” he said. “Your hard work in apprehending drug personalities is greatly appreciated and will benefit the people of Caraga.”
Investigation and follow-up operations are ongoing to arrest the cohorts and contacts of the suspects.
