ILOILO CITY – Residents of Pavia, Iloilo are expecting the formal start of operations by MORE Electric and Power Corp. (MORE Power), the sole power distributor here that is expanding to towns in Iloilo.

“Household are getting excited after electrical posts are being laid out,” said Iloilo Rep. Michael “Mike” Gorriceta in a statement after a recent visit to MORE Power’s facilities in this city.
Gorriceta met MORE Power President Roel Castro to check modern substations, daily operations, and customer services.
“I’m very impressed with the seriousness and determination of MORE Power to invest,” Gorriceta said.
Gorriceta was one of the principal authors of Republic Act No. 11918 that expanded MORE Power’s franchise area into the towns of the second and fourth districts of Iloilo.
Pavia residents can soon avail the services of MORE Power with RA 11918,.
MORE Power is awaiting the approval of its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC).
