The DOT-6 has picked six accredited hotels and resorts from Boracay for the business-to-business meetings in Busan, Yeosu, Suwon, and Seoul.

These were Henann Group of Hotels and Resorts, Belmont Hotel Boracay of Megaworld Group of Resorts and Hotels, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay, Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay, Jinjang Inn Boracay of the Hotel 101 Group, and Paradise Garden and Convention Center.

The DOT-6 is expected to boost the marketability of Boracay as a business and leisure destination to South Koreans who previously ranked as Boracay’s top foreign visitors.

In November 2021, the DOT-Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) launched a campaign pushing the country’s most famous beach destination in Malay town, Aklan province to become a major MICE player in Asia.
