13 barangays in Las Piñas log zero crime incidents

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar announced that out of 20 barangays in the city, 13 logged zero crime incidents.
Citing the report of city police chief, Col. Jaime Santos, the mayor said 13 barangays recorded zero crimes from Oct. 8-14.
She said the communities with zero crime incidents for one week are Barangays Zapote, Manuyo Uno, Elias Aldana, Daniel Fajardo, Pamplona Uno, Dos and Tres,Talon Uno, Dos, Tres and Kuatro, and Almanza Uno.
Aguilar said that because of the hard work of the local police, the Southern Police District (SPD) recognized Las Piñas as the safest city in the southern part of Metro Manila for two consecutive years.
She said Las Piñas was first awarded as the safest city during the 121st and 122nd police service anniversary on Aug. 9 2022 and Aug. 17, 2023.
The mayor thanked the Las Piñas police for their dedication in maintaining peace and order in the city.
Aguilar said the recognition was based on the police's overall performance.
The mayor added that police visibility, manned check points, and coordination of the barangay officials contributed to the efforts of the police force in protecting the residents.
