Six more teams headed by fancied Petro Gazz and F2 Logistics slug it out in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Angels, runners-up in the First All-Filipino Conference early this year, seek for a strong start when they battle newcomer Galeries Tower Highrisers in the 7 p.m. main game while the Cargo Movers collide with the Akari Charges at 5 p.m.
Opening the three-game hostilities are Chery Tiggo and Farm Fresh as they square off at 3 p.m.
But focus would be on the Angels as they aim to join early winners Nxled, Cignal and Creamline, who tackled their respective rivals in opening day last Sunday, Oct. 15.
The trio of Aiza Pontillas, Grethcel Soltones and Tin Tiamzon are expected to fuel Petro Gazz’s offensive assault with the help of veteran setter Chie Saet.
The Highrisers, meanwhile, aim to make an impact in their debut match with Grazielle Bombita, Roma Joy Doromal, Fen Emnas, Mary Anne Esguerra, Ysa Jimenez, Audrey Paran and Rapril Aguilar.
Equally exciting would be the F2-Akari duel, with the Cargo Movers aiming to eclipse their bronze-medal finish in the previous All-Filipino Conference.
With Kim Dy still recuperating from a knee injury, expect F2 to still parade an intact lineup spearheaded by Majoy Baron, Aby Maraño, Kim Fajardo, Dawn Macandili and Myla Pablo.
The Chargers, meanwhile, have Michelle Cobb at the forefront of their attack along with Bang Pineda, Janine Marciano and Faith Nisperos.
Chery Tiggo, which came in fifth the last time, likewise aims to start on a high note with Shaya Adorador, Eya Laure, Jasmine Nabor and Mylene Paat leading the charge.
But Farm Fresh is slated to erase the memory of its debut conference a few months back where they finished last in the Invitationals.
