The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday, Oct. 16 said the northeasterly surface wind flow and the extension of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) being monitored outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) still affect the northern Luzon.

Batanes will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeasterly surface wind flow, said PAGASA.
PAGASA said Kalayaan Islands will also have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to trough or extension of the LPA outside PAR.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will continue to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, said PAGASA.
The public is still warned of possible flash floods and landslides during moderate to heavy rains in high-risk areas. (Lizst Torres Abello)
