Online seller gunned down in Laoag

LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte â€“ An online seller was shot dead in her house in Barangay Cavit, here, on Saturday evening, October 14.

Police identified the victim as Josephine Rara, 43.

Initial investigation said the gunman posed as buyer of laundry soap before shooting her with a caliber .45 pistol.

Police recovered three empty shells for a caliber .45 pistol in the crime scene.

Police Lt. Col. Joseph Baltazar, Laoag chief of police, said investigators are looking at several angles to identify the suspect.
