One injured, 5 families affected in Alabang fire

A man was injured while five families were affected when a fire razed a house in Muntinlupa on Oct. 15. 

According to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, the blaze hit a home at 7C Ilaya in Barangay Alabang at about 5:57 a.m.

Firefighters raised the first alarm at 5:58 a.m. before the fire was put out at 7 a.m. 

The fire station identified the injured as Dennis Guntang who suffered burns in the left arm. 

The blaze affected five families or 22 individuals, and damaged P42,000 worth of properties. 

Investigation showed the fire originated from the bedroom but the cause is under investigation. 

A total of 10 fire trucks and three ambulances responded to the scene.
