The very best of original Pilipino music continues to play at Winford Resort & Casino Manila (WRCM) this October as the luxury hotel proudly brings back an OPM icon, plus exciting attractions and irresistible promotions.

On Oct. 21, multi-platinum singer songwriter Dingdong Avanzado, aka the Prince of Pinoy Pop, takes to the stage of the Hippodrome Bar & Lounge once again with his band The Doorbells.

Dingdong burst into the limelight in 1987 and instantly gained a huge following owing to his exceptional musical talent and highly infectious and energetic live performances. His songs Ikaw Lamang, Tatlong Beinte Singko, Maghihintay Sa ‘Yo, and Basta’t Kasama Kita became certified favorites on the airwaves and consistent chart toppers leading him to earn multiple gold and platinum record awards.

In the ‘90s, his recognition as a legitimate songwriter was cemented when he garnered the Song of the Year and Best Ballad Recording of the Year awards for his composition Paalam Na at the prestigious Awit Awards, and also bagging the Best Dance Recording award for I Will Be There For You the succeeding year.

Another significant milestone in his career was when he and his fellow OPM recording artist and wife, the Phenomenal Diva Jessa Zaragoza, released the album Laging Ikaw which earned the distinction of being the first all duet album ever to be recorded and released by a Filipino married couple.

In 2019, Dingdong participated in the historic and much celebrated Green and Go
concert alongside other OPM icons Gary Valenciano, Randy Santiago, and Ogie
Alcasid.

General admission to this concert experience is free. VIP seating near the stage is
available for a cover charge of PHP1,250 inclusive of food and drink or by earning 150 points a day.

On Oct. 29, 2 p.m., WRCM invites families to the Halloween All-Stars event packed with fun activities, loot bags, games, snacks, and a Best in Costume contest where two winners will enjoy an overnight stay in a deluxe room with breakfast for two.

Guests are encouraged to come as their favorite trending character for a chance to win. Package 1 is now available for P1,500 nett for one adult and one child which includes full access to the activity for the day, while Package 2 costs P6,500 nett for one adult and one child and includes full access to the activity plus an overnight stay in a deluxe room. Selling period is from Oct. 12 to 29, 2023.

Members and guests are also invited to avail of two cocktails for the price of one with WRCM’s Happy Happy Hour Hour promo at Zabana Bar from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m daily.
