School leaders urged to join free leadership program
The Department of Education (DepEd) invited all school leaders to join the Southeast Asian School Leadership Program (SEA-SLP) which is offered for free.

In a Facebook post, DepEd explained that SEA-SLP is a 12-week learning journey that helps school heads “develop your leadership competencies and mindsets, so you can lead your school to recovery and transformation.”
The program’s duration is from Nov. 13, 2023, until Feb. 4, 2024.
“Join the program and develop five leadership superpowers: strategic thinking and innovation, instructional leadership, managerial leadership, stakeholder engagement, and personal excellence,” DepEd said.
Participants, DepEd added, will also learn from experienced educators and experts from all over Southeast Asia; engage in peer-to-peer learning and reflection: and work on a collaborative project to bring back to their respective schools.

DepEd said participants can earn their International Certificate of Competence upon successfully finishing the said program.
All school heads and assistant school heads including principals, directors, and administrators from Southeast Asia can join, DepEd said.
“Join us on this transformative journey to building stronger and more resilient schools,” DepEd added.

DepEd said the program is offered for free to selected school heads so limited slots are available.
“Answering the registration form does not mean official enrolment,” DepEd said. “An email will be sent to the selected participants,” it added.
