The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Sunday, Oct. 15, said rains will still affect parts of the country due to the prevailing northeasterly surface wind flow and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA said Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the northeasterly surface windflow.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms, said PAGASA.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers would prevail in Palawan due to the trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) being monitored outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR.)
PAGASA still warned against possible flash floods and landslides during heavy to moderate rains in high-risk areas. (Lizst Torres Abello)
