Chris Evans flaunts wedding ring and confirms 'two wedding ceremonies' with wife Alba Baptista

Captain America is enjoying the married life!

Chris Evans officially confirmed that he is married to Alba Baptista during his panel at New York City Comic Con last Oct. 14. 

The Avengers star, 42, tied the knot with Alba in early September, flaunted his wedding ring while sharing his new life as husband. 

In a video posted by Entertainment Tonight, Chris shared that he had two wedding ceremonies, one held in Portugal and the other in a private home in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

"I got married, and it was really, really great. We kinda had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast. We did one in Portugal. My wife's Portuguese," Chris said. 

He also added that they both enjoyed the wedding, but preparing it was a bit overwhelming. 

"They were wonderful and beautiful. It's a lot planning a wedding. For those you who are married, it takes a lot out of you. Now that we're through that, we've just kinda been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn, my favorite season. It's like, the best time of year right now. Now we're just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting," Chris shared.

While this was Chris's first time discussing marrying Alba, some reports were made that Chris and Alba privately had their wedding ceremony in September in Massachusetts despite never publicly announcing their engagement.

Although the two were first linked in January 2022, Evans and Baptista have mainly kept their relationship private. While they maintained a relatively private relationship, Chris could not resist paying tribute to her on Valentine's Day in 2023, sharing several never-before-seen personal photos of the couple kissing and going on adventurous dates.

Alba is a Portuguese actress best known for her role on Netflix's hit show "Warrior Nun," her English-language debut series. She speaks five languages, including Portuguese, English, German, French, and Spanish.

Before appearing on "Warrior Nun," Alba also appeared in hugely popular Portuguese films and TV shows, including A Impostora, Filha da Lei, and A Criação. 

Given the success of her series, Alba starred in the 2022 dramatic comedy "Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris," where she played the role of Natasha alongside Lesly Manville and Jason Isaacs.
