Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano was recognized as an “Outstanding Mayor” during the fifth National Convention of the Rank and File Employees of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO).

PAO Chief Persida Rueda-Acosta handed the award to Rubiano during the program held at the Philippine Internation Convention Center (PICC) on Oct. 11.
Rubiano has been recognized by PAO as an “Outstanding Mayor” for two consecutive years for her excellence in public service and support.
The mayor thanked PAO for the recognition and vowed to continue serving the people well.
Rubiano was first named as “Outstanding Mayor” during the seventh Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Accredited National Convention of PAO on Oct. 10, 2022.
The PAO is a government agency tasked to provide free legal assistance to indigent Filipinos. It has long been a pillar of justice and support for those needing legal representation but could not afford it.
