BACOLOD CITY – A fire hit a recycling facility in Purok Paho, Barangay Felisa here on Friday, October 13.
Damage to property was estimated at P4.2 million.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Bacolod received a fire call around 5:33 p.m.
FO2 Rolin Paulan, arson investigator, said the fire broke out from the filtration system of the facility.
It spread to an area of the facility where junk tires were stored, he added.
Paulan said the fire was raised to second alarm due to the existence of combustible materials.
No injuries were reported and fire out was declared at 7:33 p.m. The BFP has yet to determine the cause of the fire.
