The most exciting thing about " Five Break-Ups And A Romance" (FBAAR) when it opens in local theaters on October 18 is that two of its lead stars have been scarcely seen in movies the past few years.

Alden Richards admits to laying low because of "pressure" replicating the success of "Hello Love Goodbye," which holds the record of being the "highest-grossing Filipino movie of all time."

On the other hand, Julia was last seen in the 2016 indie film "Padre De Familia" with her beau, actor-director Coco Martin. "Topakk," her 2023 movie with lawmaker  Arjo Atayde, has not been released locally, although it's doing the rounds of film festivals abroad.

During the world premiere of the "Five Break-ups..." trailer at the GMA Network studios, Julia was asked: "After doing this movie, will we be seeing more of you?" The 28-year-old actress replied in the affirmative, saying, " Abangan po for next year, meron po. This film (FBAAR) really made me realize na ang sarap talaga mag-work at ang sarap gumawa ng mga kwento at magkwento sa mga tao. So yes po!"

(Please look out for next year. There's a project. This film made me realize that it's really good to work, and it's so nice to make stories and tell stories to people. So it's a yes!)

Julia said that browsing through the script of "Five Break-ups And a Romance" immediately made her agree to do the movie.

"Ito yung fastest yes ko po eh. yung tipong klaro agad kung ano yung mensahe ng movie. Hindi dahil kaharap ko si Direk (Irene Villamor) Hindi mo na kailangan basahin ang buong synopsis o buong story or buong linyahan. Unang ano pa lang alam mo na eh....opo, yes po, yun po talaga!," she narrated.

(This is the fastest yes I ever made in my career. The message of the movie was very clear from the beginning. It's not because I'm in front of the Director (Irene Villamor) You really don't need to read the entire synopsis or the entire story or the entire dialogue. First of all, you know from the start....yes, yes, that's it!)

The former daytime drama queen intimated that she stopped being active in showbiz because of her lack of self-confidence. "Meron po  talaga akong mahiyain side and self doubt, sobrang taas po yun sa akin pero in this film,  these two wonderful people (Alden and Direk Irene) made me realize that I can do it. They put their faith in me, so I told myself that if they wanted to jump, I would definitely jump with them. So ayun po."

Julia revealed that she's glad to come out of her hibernation with a project like "Five Break-ups and a Romance" that made her "happy."

"No words can express how happy and blessed I am  to be part of this film,  really one for the book talaga. Naniniwala ako in God's perfect time, ibibigay sayo yung project na maha-happy ka sa soul mo,  na alam mo Thank You Lord! eto yun. So thank you...thank you...thank you," Julia remarked.
