Cloudy weather with isolated rainshowers, thunderstorms to prevail across PH
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Saturday, Oct. 14, said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail in various parts of the country due to the trough of the Low Pressure Area (LPA) and northeasterly surface windflow.

In its weather update at 4 p.m., PAGASA said the northeasterly surface wind flow still affects Northern Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced in Batanes, Isabela, Cagayan, Apayao, and Abra due to the northeasterly surface wind flow, said PAGASA.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said Palawan would have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA monitored outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR).
Weather specialist Veronica Torres said the LPA has a low chance of entering PAR again.
In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will be experienced due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, PAGASA warned against flash floods and landslides in high-risk areas due to moderate and heavy rains. (Lizst Torres Abello)
