To recognize the best practices, programs, and good governance of cooperative members and their partners, the Cooperation Development Authority (CDA) held this year's Gawad Parangal Award ceremony.
Held on Oct. 13 in Quezon City, the 2023 Gawad Parangal Award ceremony aimed to recognize cooperatives and leaders who exemplify the principles and values of good management and governance.
“The men and women whose high intent, sincere efforts, and intelligent execution have earned them the right to be identified as examples of the best cooperative practices, exemplary management, and governance,” said CDA Assistant Secretary Myrla B. Paradillo.
“In addition to cooperatives and cooperative leaders, we will also acknowledge our partners from the Senate, House of Representatives, local government units, and private institutions who have contributed to the development and implementation of programs and policies for the betterment of the cooperative sector,” she added.
