Stars grace dental chain's 10th anniversary celebration

Distinguished personalities Coco Martin, Julia Montes, Vice Ganda, Ion Perez, Seth Fedelin, and other stars graced the 10th-anniversary celebration of Urban Smiles Dental Clinic at SEDA Vertis North's Grand Ballroom in Quezon City last Sept. 18.

The guests were welcomed by Dr. Ralph Figaroa Delas Alas (Dr. RFD), president of Urban Smiles Dental Clinic, and Ruel Apostol, CEO of Urban Smiles Dental Clinic, who founded the country's fastest-growing and most trusted dental chains.

"The partnership will bring a positive impact on communities and residents of the whole Quezon City government," said Vargas during the media conference.

Vargas added: "Urban Smiles Dental Clinic's 10th-year anniversary celebration marks not only a decade of excellence in oral healthcare but also a testament to its unwavering dedication to creating beautiful smiles and making a lasting impact on the communities it serves."

Dr. RFD and Apostol also announced their unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) in a media conference. Over the years, Dr. RFD has led numerous medical missions to depressed areas.

Urban Smiles Dental Clinic announced its forthcoming expansion plans, intending to open new clinic locations in the near future. 

"These strategically located clinics will bring exceptional dental services closer to communities across the Philippines," Dr. RFD said.

In a bid to redefine the dental and oral care landscape with pioneering technology, Urban Smiles Dental Clinic, in partnership with the Department of Tourism, is set to position the Philippines as a premier dental tourism destination.

This visionary endeavor will be graced by Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco, sealed with a memorandum of agreement signed during the 10th-year anniversary celebration. 

"The initiative not only promises to boost the country's healthcare sector but also to showcase the Philippines' natural beauty and cultural richness to international visitors seeking world-class dental services," said Apostol.

At the heart of Urban Smiles Dental Clinic's success lies its dedication to community social responsibility. Over the years, Dr. RFD, the clinic's founder, has spearheaded numerous medical missions to underserved rural areas, delivering vital dental care to those in need. These missions have touched the lives of countless Filipinos:

In Pasig City, during Child Life Month, the clinic distributed food packs and dental kits to 100 indigent children.

In Taguig Elementary School, a dental talk was conducted for 100 parents to promote oral health awareness.

In Famy, Laguna, a dental mission provided free extractions to 50 indigent individuals aged 18 to 45.

At the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Executive Building in Intramuros, Manila, Urban Smiles partnered with DOLE and the Philippine Dental Association (PDA) to offer free dental services to TUPAD beneficiaries and padyak drivers during DOLE's 89th-anniversary celebrations.

In Cebu, the clinic collaborated with Vice Ganda’s UnkabogaBALL as a major sponsor of a gift-giving event, benefiting 500 recipients with 500 packs of dental kits.

The Missionaries of the Poor received support through a Christmas donation drive for 25 beneficiaries with cerebral palsy, autism, and Down's syndrome in partnership with PDA.
