PRC sets virtual oathtaking of new metallurgical engineers

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), on Friday, Oct. 13, announced the date for the online oathtaking of new metallurgical engineers.

The oathtaking ceremony will be held online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom on Oct. 26, at 1 p.m., to be spearheaded by the PRC-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

PRC said inductees must wear formal or business attire and use a white backdrop (white physical or virtual background) throughout the oathtaking ceremony.

Moreover, the PRC emphasized that attendees should secure an online appointment schedule at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select "E-OATH" as the transaction.

Meanwhile, it also noted that the online registration will close five calendar days before the virtual oathtaking day.

Inductees must also print the "Oath of Professional" form, downloadable from its official website under PRC Online Services.
