Leading oil firm Petron Corporation is broadening the retail outlets reach of its new Fiesta Gas 170-gram refillable liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products in the juicy market of Luzon – that was following its successful debut in Cebu and Metro Manila markets.
The LPG product’s market expansion in Luzon will include those in Bulacan, Pampanga, Bataan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija, and Ilocos Norte, according to the oil firm.
As part of the rollout activity for that Fiesta Gas commodity, the oil firm had ramped up its promotion and sale of the products in northern and Central Luzon provinces, that way, the consumers can also be given wider option when it comes to patronage of cooking fuel that they can use at home.
Petron emphasized that there was a “strong demand for the new Fiesta Gas product,” noting that such development prompted it to upgrade one of its LPG refilling plants in the region – and that came with new refilling machines for small refillable cylinders.
The oil company indicated that with the seamless aluminum packaging of Fiesta Gas, it becomes “a much safer and superior alternative to charcoal, firewood, and illegally refilled butane canisters that expose users to health and safety hazards.”
Petron illustrated that “the Fiesta Gas 170-gram refillable cylinder is compatible with LPG-rated portable stoves and grillers.”
It further qualified that the new variant of Fiesta Gas “is fit for everyday use and provides a more convenient and budget-friendly option for families who can’t easily afford to buy cooking gas in large quantities. “
The common LPG tank being purchased by households had been those of the 11-kilogram configuration, but since many Filipino families still struggle on making ends meet on their budgets, the industry players are getting more innovative on the product offers so it would come easier on the pockets of consumers.
Beyond cost and patronage of product quality, Petron emphasized that its new Fiesta Gas product “helps reduce waste due to its reusable nature.”
It thus expounded that the used cylinders “can be exchanged at authorized Fiesta Gas dealers and retailers where consumers would only need to pay for the refill after initial purchase of the product.”
Petron noted that the cylinder exchange arrangement would ensure that “consumers are getting the right product quantity and quality each time.”
