Vice Governor Mark Leviste of Batangas has professed his undying love for Queen of All Media Kris Aquino for the first time.

In an exclusive interview for the popular online show "TicTALK With Aster Amoyo" on Friday, Oct. 13, Mark revealed that she greatly admired Kris for being a wonderful person.

"Walang nagbago sa akin. Mahal ko siya!" said Mark when asked about his feelings for Kris, who is battling several autoimmune diseases. Mark expressed that his feelings for Kris are sincere.

"Hindi mo pwedeng dayain or ipeke ang iyong tunay nararamdaman yung mula sa puso. What I have is genuine. The genuine kind of love. That's why I take pride in being sincere and proud to the point some people misinterpret it. You cannot please everyone. I don't intend to please everyone, especially with my private affairs and relationships with my loved ones. Hindi naman sila yung involved, so why waste my time on people who think negatively about my intentions?" he said.

In the same interview, Mark never revealed the true state of his relationship with Kris. However, he believed that love is always right and one should do anything for it.

"Kung gusto mo ang isang tao, gagawa ka ng paraan come hell or high water. Umaraw at umulan, talagang pag gusto may paraan. Kailan man hindi mali ang magmahal," he said.

Asked if he planned to propose to Kris, Mark said: "I'll tell you off the air."

Mark, who has been in public service for around 30 years, said he's ready to settle down again.

"Kung doon ako patungo. Kung doon ako dadalhin ng Panginoon, yes! At this age, with my maturity and experiences, I can safely say that I'm ready," he said, The politician with three children had his previous marriage annulled.

In June 2022, Kris and her children traveled to the US for her medical treatment. She is still out of the limelight because she is still recovering abroad. In July, Kris revealed her breakup with Mark. She also asked Mark to stop communicating with her completely. Despite this, they continue to talk and see each other with their kids in the US.

Mark, 45, felt blessed to have known Kris, who he believes is often misunderstood.

"In all honesty, no joke, walang biro, I'm a super admirer of Kris Aquino. She knows that. I'm proud of it. Kris is an amazing, beautiful person inside and out. Super beautiful.

"I'm lucky, super fortunate she's part of my life, and I've seen a different kind of Kris. I feel very blessed to be given the opportunity to witness all of these. I'm. not perfect and marami pa akong dapat matutunan.

"Marami pa akong kakainin but people like her make me want to be a better public servant and leader. Mula sa aking puso, ipinagmamalaki ko ang pagkatao at ang paghanga ko kay Kris Aquino.

"Oftentimes, she is misunderstood by some, if not many. Pero once na makilala mo si Kris Aquino sa loob at labas ng showbiz, on or off camera, she is one of the most beautiful beings I've ever met. I'm proud I can share this with others so that she will be appreciated," Mark said.

Mark describes himself as a simple yet vocal and expressive person.

"I'm very vocal, very expressive. Kapag gusto ko ang isang tao o bagay, talagang pinapa-alam ko. I don't shy away from expressing my feelings, especially if it's a happy moment," he said. "I'm a passionate kind of partner. I'm a truly, madly, deeply in love kind of person. I will go all out. Binibigay ko ang lahat," he said. "I cannot deny that my expression, even my joy, says it all. I'm proud of where I am. I'm proud of my love, and I'm proud of what we have."

Mark believes that falling in love is one of the greatest gifts from God.

"Whether you sacrifice or give time to someone you love, that's all that matters. Masarap ang magmahal at masarap din ang ma-in love. Masarap ang nagmamahal at masarap ang minamahal. I think it's the best feeling God ever blessed us with," he said.

When inquired about the status of his heart, Mark said: "The last time I checked I left my heart in America. Sa aking pag-alala, ibinigay at ipinaubaya ko ang aking puso sa taong mahal ko."

Mark also showed the trinity ring Kris gave him.

"She (Kris) talked about it in the past. It symbolizes love, friendship, and fidelity. That's why through thick and thin lagi ko pong suot ang singsing na galing sa kanya to symbolize my love, my value for friendship, and my fidelity," he said.

Sought to give a special message to Kris, Mark showed a heart-finger gesture and said: "Love, love, love."
