According to Caloocan City Public Information Office (PIO), the consultative meeting focused on the review of Napolcom Memorandum Circular 2016-002, which outlines the rules of procedure for disciplinary and administrative cases involving policemen.

It also intended to address the concerns related to local PLEBs.

Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan conveyed his appreciation to the Napolcom and the representatives of other local boards for ensuring that law enforcement officers who commit wrongdoings are held accountable.

All of your opinions and suggestions today will truly be beneficial not only to the City of Caloocan but to the entire Metro Manila),” he said.

The city mayor also stressed the importance of taking a comprehensive approach to law enforcement, which involves equipping police officers to handle various situations effectively, acknowledging their outstanding efforts in maintaining community safety, and actively addressing any abuses of power.

We are aware that there are still many good police officers today who continue to fulfill their responsibilities with integrity and respect for the rights of our citizens),” Malapitan stated.

We need to balance our actions to ensure that we hold those who tarnish the reputation of the police accountable, while recognizing and setting as examples those who excel among their peers. I salute the Caloocan PLEB because I trust that they carry out this duty without fail)," he added.
