BIR regional office receives ISO certification

The United Registrar System (URS) of the International Standard Organization (ISO) has bestowed high accolades upon the Laguna-Quezon-Marinduque (La-Que-Mar) region of the Bureau of Internal Revenue for its exceptional professionalism and exemplary service to taxpayers.

The regional office based in San Pablo City has been commended for its wide array of services provided to taxpayers.

The URS audit certification encompassed areas such as business registration, one-time transactions, tax clearance issuance, and the processing of tax returns across its various divisions and district offices.

Previously, URS recognized LaQueMar, led by Regional Director Dondenon A. Galera and Assistant Director Narciso T. Laguerta, for their outstanding performance in both primary and secondary business registration processes.

URS, comprising a team of expert auditors, is hired and tasked with evaluating the performance of private enterprises and government offices.
