Jielo Razon spearheaded University of Perpetual Help’s fourth quarter rally to overcome San Sebastian, 64-50, in the NCAA Season 99 men’s basketball at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Friday, Oct. 13.

Razon lifted the Altas from a lethargic shooting by dropping seven of his 14 points in the final frame including a triple that gave them a comfortable 62-47 lead en route to the win.
Christian Pagaran and Marcus Nitura backstopped Razon with 14 and 13 points, respectively, as Perpetual also ended its two-game losing streak to improve its win-loss record to 2-4.
The Altas also banked on their stifling defense, limiting the Golden Stags to a measly 17-of-68 in field goals.
After a sluggish first half, San Sebastian came alive in the third quarter when it trimmed a 35-26 deficit to just a hairline, 41-40, off a run that was capped by a pair of foul shots by Tristan Felebrico with 1.23 minutes left in the same period.
It turned out to be the Stags’ last as the Altas closed the quarter 6-1 exchanged that Nitura capped with a buzzer-beating jumper to go in the final canto with a 46-41 upper hand.
And Perpetual carried that momentum in the final quarter when it held SSC to just a single-digit in sealing the deal.
Romel Calahat was the lone double-digit scorer with 13 points and 11 rebounds for San Sebastian, which tied with Perpetual with a similar 2-4 card.
