As Filipinos, we have always been certified food lovers, enjoying meals that create memorable moments together with our family, friends, and loved ones. Whether it's a festive celebration or a simple gathering, one thing that often accompanies our delectable feasts is the refreshing taste of Coca-Cola.
For 111 years, Coca-Cola continues to serve its mission of bringing together and making meals magical for Filipinos. On Sept. 22, we all witnessed the real magic brought to #CokeKAINation with the goal of uniting Filipino food lovers at one festival. The enchanting salo-salo experience brought together over 3,000 Pinoys to savor the moment at the MOA open grounds. This historic attempt aimed to set another world record for the Philippines by creating the world’s largest potluck, bringing families and friends together to enjoy potluck meals and ice-cold Coca-Cola.
Real magic is best experienced when having a meal together, creating unforgettable moments filled with laughter and joy. At the festival, each participant brought one dish to the event. The size of the dish was large enough to share with at least six other people at the potluck. And, of course, they had their Coca-Cola with them to taste that magic, as it enhances the flavors and bonds shared during these special gatherings.
“The love for food and experiences is something that’s always been strongly present in Filipinos, especially in today’s youth,” said Adrian Manlapig, marketing manager, Coca-Cola Philippines. “At Coca-Cola, we understand that many of our Gen Z Pinoys wish to share these moments with other people. And with #CokeKAINation, we combine all their different interests into one immersive experience full of food, music, and amazing activities—like the classic Pinoy fiesta we all love.”
To make the magical moments even more enjoyable, Filipino artists Darren Espanto, Sam Concepcion, and P-pop group BINI delighted the audience with their lively performances, leaving everyone in awe with mesmerizing music and captivating dance moves. Additionally, social media personalities Small Laude and Ninong Ry were seen at the event, further elevating the celebration with their presence. Everyone had a memorable night filled with unforgettable performances.
All of these moments with Coca-Cola by our side become even more special, creating memories that will last a lifetime, making us one #CokeKAINation, where every sip is a celebration of togetherness.
