Three Pinoys held in Taiwan over alleged drug smuggling attempt
Three Filipinos were arrested in Taiwan for allegedly trying to smuggle illegal drugs, Manila Economic Cultural Office (MECO) chairman Silvestre Bello III disclosed on Thursday, Oct. 12.
Bello said all of the three Filipinos were apprehended at the airport and were carrying around 10 kilos of illegal drugs.
Two of those arrested were apprehended on Sept. 28 for allegedly carrying high grade cocaine. Both are holders of tourist visa.
The third Filipino arrested was intercepted for alleedly carrying almost two kilos of illegal drugs on Oct. 11
