About 100 senior citizens from Barangay Pembo were given a comprehensive tour and had the opportunity to avail of the facility's free services, including sauna and massage sessions, foot spas, movie screenings, and refreshments.
The Center for the Elderly has amenities including a therapy pool, a clinic, a sauna and massage room, a cinema/mini theater, a multi-purpose hall/recreational area, and a rooftop garden.
It also houses the Taguig Geriatric Program, which was launched in partnership with St. Luke’s Medical Center, offering senior citizens comprehensive health services, including consultations and evaluations by medical professionals.
Senior Citizens can have their memory, visual, and hearing skills assessed on Tuesdays, while Informative lectures and forums on topics like depression, dementia, osteoporosis, and eating habits are held on Thursdays.
The Center for the Elderly is also a space where senior citizens can experience a strong sense of community.
