Parañaque LGU breaks ground for new multi-purpose building

Parañaque City Representative Edwin Olivarez led the groundbreaking ceremony for the new multi-purpose building located inside the Baclaran Elementary School Unit II campus on Wednesday, Oct. 11.
Olivarez, accompanied by Mayor Eric Olivarez, said the two-storey building is part of the priority project of the congressman aimed at improving the quality of life of every resident in the city.
The mayor thanked Rep. Edwin for continuing to partner with the city government in implementing programs and projects for the residents.
Mayor Olivarez said the first floor of the building will be for the multi-purpose hall for Baclaran residents which they can use for their projects and programs.
He said the second floor will be used as a public indoor gymnasium.
Officials from the Department of Public Works and Highways and Baclaran Elementary School Central Principal Carina Bautista joined in the groundbreaking ceremony.
